Thanks, we will be in touch shortly!

The least invasive procedure we offer is a Medical Abortion shot called Methotrexate ("the M shot") and RU486 pill for pregnancies. These early procedures involve a carefully curated combination of medications that will gently and effectively conclude the pregnancy, and support its safe expulsion.

This option typically involves just 3 office visits, allowing us to closely monitor your progress and ensure the best outcome. It is important for patients to actively track progress and outcomes. Please note that this procedure may not be suitable for everyone. Our dedicated physician will carefully assess your medical history and conduct a physical examination to make the final decision that best suits your individual needs.

Our medical abortion option provides a gentle and non-invasive alternative to surgical procedures, ensuring privacy and convenience for women in the early stages of pregnancy (4 to 10 weeks). This method involves a visit to our clinic for the administration of Mifrex, followed by the insertion of additional tablets at home.

Within 24-48 hours, the medication will conclude pregnancy and gently open the cervix, resulting in cramping and bleeding. The intensity of these symptoms may vary among individuals, and bleeding can range from light to moderately heavy, potentially accompanied by the passing of clots and tissue. To ensure your comfort, we recommend arranging for childcare and taking the day off work, as the process may take some time.

After 1-2 weeks, patients have a follow-up appointment, sonogram and/or blood tests to confirm the successful conclusion of the pregnancy. In rare cases where the procedure is not fully effective, additional charges may apply for a surgical aspiration.

Your well-being and peace of mind are our top priorities throughout this journey. Our compassionate team is here to support you every step of the way, addressing any concerns or questions you may have with utmost care and understanding.

We offer surgical abortions as a safe and compassionate option for women in the first trimester of pregnancy, between 4.5 and 13.6 weeks gestation. Our skilled OB/GYN medical doctor will ensure your comfort by administering local anesthesia. During the procedure, which typically only lasts 5-7 minutes, you will be in the care of our experienced medical staff.

To ensure a thorough process, we ask that you plan for an approximately 3 to 4 hour visit. During this time, we will dedicate the first hour to reviewing your medical history, providing essential information, conducting necessary lab work, and performing an ultrasound (sonogram) to determine the best course of action.

Before the procedure, you will have an opportunity to meet with the doctor, who will address any concerns and provide personalized care. Rest assured, we prioritize your comfort and well-being, and sedation will be administered to enhance your relaxation.

Following the procedure, you will spend 30-45 minutes in our dedicated Recovery Room, where attentive staff will monitor your recovery before you are discharged. We understand the importance of a supportive and nurturing environment during this time, and we are committed to providing it for you. Please feel free to discuss any questions or concerns you may have anytime, as we are here to support you every step of the way.

For patients up to 24 weeks, we have a carefully designed abortion process that aims to prioritize your comfort and safety. The procedure spans approximately two days, allowing ample time for your well-being.

During the first step, our skilled team will gently insert sterile laminaria, (tiny, slim sticks made from natural fibers). These laminaria gradually expand over several hours, aiding in the dilation of the uterus. This technique ensures a quicker, safer, and less painful experience. You will spend 4-8 hours in our clinic, returning home in the evening. To manage discomfort, we will provide you with a prescription for pain medication, please fill it promptly. Having a supportive companion by your side is highly recommended if possible.

The following day, you will visit our clinic again for the removal of the laminaria and the aspiration procedure. This process generally takes around  4-8 hours. It is essential to arrange for someone to accompany you and drive you home after the procedure.

UNDER 18? If you are under 18, please tell a safe adult (parent, guardian or friend over 18) about the procedure. They don't need to be present during the procedure, but we do need an emergency contact. It is also important for you to have a guardian to stay with you overnight for your well-being.

Rest assured that our caring team is committed to providing you with the utmost care, ensuring your comfort, and addressing any concerns or questions you may have. Your safety and support are our top priorities.

Our clinic uses the latest technology to ensure your comfort.  Some patients enjoy escaping the moment of treatment by using the newest Oculus Virtual Reality Goggles.
